Long ago, the bangies lived in harmony. They were all one big happy nation. The grass was green, the sun shined, birds chirped. Then it all changed when Schaff went to the throne.
Schaff replaced Weldon after he died. Schaff seemed to bring chaos to the last weldon, Padre. Padre rebelled and started a new clan called "the antis" or "anti bangies" This clan was made up of everyone that rebelled Schaff's customs. The spine, a row of ossified crowns
crowded and curved around that defining neural superhighway;
that extension cord,
adventurously connecting the visceral
to the peripheral.
The horseshoe crab vertebrae
scuttle to break through skin at your touch;
reach out,
a defining shiver.
I see your hands
